Favorite restaurant in STL, great food and service. Mike B is the man!
Aside from a less-than-impressive meal last evening, we are huge fans of this restaurant and will always return. This dinner was not our greatest experience. Reservation was at 7:30 and we were seated promptly. Bread basket was over-baked just short of being burnt. Caesar salads were, as always, the best around. Though the three pasta dishes - penne ala vodka & lobster mac - were piping hot and exceptional, the chicken spiedini and accompanying cauliflower arrived luke-warm at best. Dined yesterday with a few coworkers will we had a brief meeting. Food was outstanding as was the service. Chef kiss.
It was a very nice experience. My husband ordered the Lasagna and liked it very much. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi and was not very happy. Only 3 Shrimp and not much taste. Our Waiter recommended it as his favorite dish. Ordered the Toasted Ravioli for an Appetizer, the sauce is very good, but the Raviolis are dried out. We will go again, but try other dishes.
