My wife and I went in for Valentine’s Day and I can’t say that I was impressed. The service was good but the food was very dry starting with the shrimp and grits appetizer. The lobster bucatini was flavorless and dry and seemed more like something I’d get at Pasta House rather than a $42 entree. The veal saltimbocca had good flavor but was still over cooked. Wonderful service and focus on Valentine's Day, roses on each table and server wished us Happy Valentine's, well done by a good locally owned St. Louis area restaurant.

It’s not easy to get a reservation when your husband’s birthday falls on Valentine’s Day! As I searched for a restaurant over one week in advance, I came up with a late seating at Vito’s. I took it! Never having dined there, the online menu looked great and I hoped for the best. Vito’s did not disappoint! First time at Vito's in the Valley for Valentine's Day with my hubs. Super great service, delicious food and drinks with a wide variety of options. Very nice date night spot.
We went for Valentines Day. The appetizers were very good, and large portions. The salads were great & I especially liked the quinoa butternut salad, it was fantastic! My wife had the roasted chicken and loved it, I had the spidini di pollo & I was not a fan. The staff offered to get me something else, but I didn’t want to push our dining late, so I declined. Enjoyed a nice dinner at Vitos in the valley. They were ready for us at reservation and the food was quick and hot. Would definitely eat dinner here again.
Food, service was very good. Really appreciated the staff, it is hard to find good help.
We went on Saturday, February 12th so it was busy for Valentine’s but our reservation was at 2:30 pm. I think they were short staffed. It took an unusually long time for the waitress to greet us. Likewise for our drink order to be delivered. That said, the waitress was very sweet and friendly given how busy she was.
