Went for a romantic dinner with my husband. Very good wine list. Eggplant parm appetizer was great. Husband had penne alla vodka and he loved it. I had pasta alla Norma which was similar to a pasta dish I had at Vito's near the Fox. Everything was delicious. Sean our waiter was very courteous. Will definitely be going back.
The food was delicious and our wine choice excellent. The problem is the noise. There were six of us and we had a hard time hearing each other.
Third time going to this restaurant. Great food and ambiance.
Very good experience. Food was outstanding especially the seafood ravioli. Only disappointment was the cost of a single glass of wine. $9.00 is high for a Riesling that can be bought for $12.00-$15.00 at retail for the bottle. $7.00 would be acceptable.
I highly recommend Vito's in the Valley. Their downtown location is perfect for what it is - but it was only smart to expand the menu when you head to this location. The menu is well thought out and really has something for everyone.
We ordered a pizza and the filet mignon. Both were excellent. Pizza has a great flavor, especially the sausage and was very much enjoyed. I didn't need a knife for my filet. It was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were also very good. Service was exceptional.
We have been to Vito's numerous times. It is our Wednesday night place to dine out. The food is always excellent, the staff attentive and courteous, and the wine list while not large has some very nice selections. I would recommend Vito's to anyone looking for first class food in a casual setting who doesn't want to make the drive to the Hill - but still wants authentic Italian food and great service.
Food & service was very good. Brian was excellent & saw to our every need. His recommendations were very good. Will return soon. Had been there once before & heard the band Mixed Emotions (they were very good) hope they have them more often, worth the trip to hear them.
Really enjoyed our dinner and appreciated ability to split entree to get more modest portion of pasta.
