This was my second time visiting Vito's in the Valley. The first time my fiancee and I went for dinner. It was wonderful! The mood was romantic and beautiful. This time, we took our 15 year old daughter with us. We ate outside. Food is excellent. It is a great spot for a romantic dinner or family dinner.

Evening started out poorly by having to wait 35 minutes for our reservation. Once seated, the service was slow (20 minutes to take our order), he spilled water on the table while filling the glasses, asked the men at the table for their orders before the ladies, and attempted to clear some places before others were done with their meals. Granted, these are certainly not show stoppers, but they are all common courtesies that we expect when we patronize mid-scale and higher restaurants. Went here for a birthday dinner. Quite tasty, but not truly exceptional food. Incredibly expensive for the portions delivered. Everybody in our group felt the same about the taste of their meal... it was good, but not worth a repeat visit. Everybody also felt they've had better-tasting versions of their dish elsewhere. Needed a place to go for Easter Sunday and wife found this on internet. Had a nice meal and very relaxing time. We will definitely go back for dinner on the weekend. Nice atmosphere too!
I made reservations through Open Table for my family for Easter Brunch. When I called a few days before to confirm the reservation, the person who took my call was very personable and friendly. Our table was ready when we arrived Easter morning, and the hostess staff and wait staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient. The Easter Brunch menu was very tasty and offered something for everyone in our party of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. We were all pleased with our experience and I plan to return in the future.
The food was very good, reasonably priced and the ambience was nice. I was disappointed in the wine situation. The wine list had a nice red blend, listed with a 2009 vintage. Our server brought out the same wine, but a 2012 vintage and charged us the same price as that listed on the menu. This is not a good practice. I have no problem with vintage changes, but they need to be reasonable and there needs to be a price reduction when what I ordered is not in stock anymore.
Loved this restaurant for a date night. Great calazones!!
