We have been to Vito's many times and the food and ambiance did not disappoint--excellent as usual. Service was not to par but server must have been having a bad night. We'll be back!

Very nice ambience at this location. The house salad was great with lots of nice herbs and fruit. We both went for the Tutti Mare and it was well presented and tasty. The bar was a bit slow and we got our 1st drinks after the salad was already out, but otherwise service was quite nice. I think the bar there was just understaffed that night & they have some interesting house cocktails that seem to have a 'long build' cycle.
Had such a good experience we came back a week later. Great food, good service and relaxing each time.
I have previously raved about Vitos. Our latest experience was excellent. However, I was taken aback by a $2 up charge on my Salmon platter to substitute shrimp for calamari. The waiter should have told me when I placed the order, not when he served the food.
I have found my new favorite place to eat and hangout in chesterfield!! I cant believe how great this hidden gem is. I was floored by the staff and how at home i felt while dining here. I went for a special celebration; and our server went above and beyond in recognizing our celebration,and the owner even made time to stop by our table to congratulate us. Great Sunday evening out, casual but elegant!
We liked Vito's in the past, but we felt a little cheated this last visit. My dish was not worthy of $24. The appetizer was a lot smaller than on our last visit. We will not be returning any time soon.
