Highly recommend the pasta chicken special and the pizzas! The salads are very fresh too. HH in the bar was delightful with a frozen expression martini!
Highly recommend this place for variety and food quality. A little noisy for a large party to communicate but still a nice time and really good service.
The appetizer pizza was incredibly delicious. I loved the eggplant Parmesan appetizer which I ate as a meal. The chicken spedini was amazing. The weakness was the seafood. The salmon was overdone and the squid tasteless. The scallops were however perfectly cooked. So we gave the restaurant 4 stars and we know not to order seafood. But the other dishes were great.
Another Great Dining Experience at GIO Modern Italian. Son and grandchildren came in for my wife and my birthdays. Dining at GIO Modern Italian is the location for ANY OCCASION. Our server, Mike, was Excellent and added to the dining experience. He was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, answered all questions and made some suggestions which were appreciated. The only downside was the service. My MIL asked for lemon for her water, and it took a long time until it showed up at the table. My son ordered the pork chop, was told by the waiter that he’d get a steak knife, but I had to flag down another worker to get it approximately 10 minutes after the dinner was on the table. Excellent service !! We had a large party of 10 and sat outside on lighted patio The food portions were large and very good everyone enjoyed their food choice . We will definitely return !!
Great lunch, 1/2 salad and prosciutto tortellini. Generous portions. Will definitely go back.
