My favorite Italian restaurant. I’m from California and am picky
We dined outdoors as it was a beautiful day. Service was great and food provided in timely manner. Our food was delicious! Did not feel rushed!
We were celebrating my husband's birthday. They gave him a free dessert & didn't embarass us with singing! So thoughtful! Everything was delicious.

The food was good & the service was outstanding. We were seated by a very large, loud party & had to yell just to have conversation. So that part was not enjoyable. We will be back, the food is good.
Gio is still a good/moderately priced casual place to dine. On this trip, I tried the lasagna. Though a little on the pricey side, its was very good. The shrimp scampi pasta was also good. Salads were good. The only negative is that we had to ask 3 times for bread even though the restaurant was not busy.
We were there on a night when the kitchen was struggling. Food came out at wildly different temperatures. Most of the fish dishes were almost inedible. The calzone we ordered was great though. The arancini was good and the toasted ravoli was fine. Our server was nice and kind and very apologetic for the kitchens mistakes. The drinks are very good. Overall it's a fine Italian spot, when you get a good night in the kitchen.
The Caesar salad was excellent! Best in the area that I have found. The pasta was good but not great. It is a fairly loud. I like the place, and would recommend it. Friendly crew. Young and not real experienced, but very pleasant.
