Food was delicious & service courteous. It was extremely loud, otherwise a wonderful experience!
Food was AMAZING! Came out quickly and had a great menu of options to fit everybody.
First time at Gio's - and loved everything about it!! The new decor, the new vibe, the food, the service - everything was great for me and my friends! We will definitely put this on the fave restaurant list! :)
Food, service, ambiance--all very good. However, the noise level is more than objectionable. Can hardly hear yourself think!! I've given this venue many chances always hoping the noise situation will improve, but it doesn't. This likely is my last time there. Was there with a friend who had never been there before, and we could barely converse; it was frustrating and annoying. Surely something can be done to improve the acoustics. My four daughters and I just got back from dinner, and I must say it was a wonderful experience through and through. Modern Vibe while still staying true to traditional Italian cooking, the atmosphere was inviting and energetic. We all shared our meals and each was truly enjoyable. Dessert put it over the top with something for everyone again shared by all. James took exceptional care of us, and the support staff were attentive and responsive. We enjoyed our visit to Gio, although at first the noise level was really off-putting. Fortunately, we were seated in the back and so it wasn't too bad, but we still had trouble hearing each other speak. The service was just excellent: attentive and knowledgeable servers. The food was mostly good, although several of us ordered risotto and it was more like pilaf: grainy instead of creamy, as risotto should be.
Will might return for happy hour. Great value, food and drinks were good and great value. Service was excellent. Entrees were fair at best. We were charged to split without notice. Risotto was crunchy. Everything was bland and needed salt. Chicken was dry. We wished we had stopped at happy hour. Also, I made a reservation on Open Table at a high top because it was the only thing available but when we arrived the lady told my friend a table was available but because our reservation was a high top we had to take that. We were there on Sunday evening and the restaurant was incredibly loud. Hard to have a meaningful conversation across a two person table.
