I have been to Vito’s in The Valley 3 times hoping each time would be better. The food is mediocre to poor the service is very slow and inattentive. My last visit was so bad, after being there over an hour waiting for my meal with no communication, no offer of bread, basically being ignored, I ended up with no bill. The food is not good, the service sucks - don’t waste your time or money.
The restaurant was uncomfortably cool but our waiter was very accommodating at trying to make us comfortable. The food was very disappointing this time. I ordered the salmon and it was over cooked. The Brussel sprouts were not intact and quite charred. My friend had a very u flavorful chicken Caesar salad.
They don’t value your reservations. Don’t bother reserving the high tops, everyone grabs tables as they wish. Service was slow, seemed like an issue with everything we ordered. Pasta we ordered was bland not a lot of flavor, had 3 shrimp in my shrimp pasta. Do yourself a favor and go to the location in the city, 100 times better.
Sundays days they only serve the brunch and lunch menu. Very limited.
Terrible restaurant with unprofessional staff and management. Will never go back. Not recommended .
I really wanted to like this place. The ambience was great, but the food was blah and the service mediocre.
We waited and waited for cheese plate that never came, at which we cancelled getting bc we got our salads before it. We were there 1 hour and half before we even got our food. We were there an hour before we got our salads. Very poor service. Waitress felt horrible. They also brought my food out with croutons on it and it was suppose to be gluten free. The service was very poor. We were seated and about 5 minutes after us a table nearby was seated. They had someone come to their table & get their drinks and we had no one. I had to stop someone and ask if we had a server for our table. A server came over about a minute later and seemed very busy with a large group and no time for us. Seafood entree had mussels that didn’t open, the chef actually encouraged my husband to pry them open and eat them!! Rookie cooking mistake.
