We overheard another server talking about the night specials and our server did not mention all of the specials. When we asked our server, they stated that they were not sure of them all but would find out and then took a very long time to get back with us. Once we ordered one of the entrees (risotto) which we later learned was being made fresh, was going to take a long time to come to the table. First off, Give Vito's a try 'cause its better than this review. They were just "off" last night. We had the Arancina (Risotto Balls) and sent them back as the inside was still very cold and hard. Salads were over dressed the Antipasto Salad included items that were not supposed to be part of the presentation (salami in particular). The Penne Ala Vodka was superb. The location is great for us but we probably will not go back. The front of the house was very friendly as was our waitress. Both worked very hard to make our experience great. We wanted very much to find our local Italian gem but the food was disappointing. Their coffee, though, is strong and delicious! For a Saturday night, they were not busy. I had to give a "fair" overall rating because the food is what calls you out to a restaurant. Bad service can keep you away but excellent service cannot bring you in.

Had Mother's Day brunch and it was bad. Very poor selection of food and what was there didn't taste good. Even the deserts weren't good. I've been there before and had good food and service but brunch is bad.

Food was very bland. Had the fettuccine Alfredo and it needed more garlic more flavor. Not much to it. Also had the Calamari and it could have used more flavor too. Caesar salad the same. It was ok but could have used more flavor. All in all the food was bland. The service was great. It was not to noisy or crowded. Nice ambiance.

Never in my life... have I had a manager come out and argue with me about my steak not being cooked to medium rare.... I was absolutely astounded and will never return. My friends, who I had invited, were absolutely shocked at the behavior by the manager.

Went to Vito's for a girls night out. Food was delicious and our server was great. However, it is a good thing we were not on a time crunch. After ordering salads and entrees, over thirty minutes go by and no salads. Our server then brought out our entrees and realized we never received our salads. He took the dinners back and it still took another 10-15 minutes to get our salads.(after the wrong salad order was brought out) After having our salads, we waited another 30 minutes or so for our entrees. Table size - the small oblong table for 2 does not provide enough space for everything - made the experience very cramped - be sure to ask for a square table - that is used for 2 or 4

I've been to Vito's twice. The first time, a week ago, everything was fine. But this week, the service was terrible! The waiters were lousy. It took us 20 minutes to get a menu. I ordered sparkling water- they brought still water in an Italian bottle. The food was fine but then, we waited another 20 minutes for the check. It seemed the waiters didn't know who "we belonged to" . Very disorganized service! I'll give it another try because the pizza is good.
