Sicilian pizza was great. Very filling though. Also, be sure to try the Arancini. Main dining room was quite loud. Service was good not great. Overall a good experience and we will be back
Vito's is a new restaurant in the Chesterfield valley, so we decided to try it recently. . Vito's menu is Italian, with the usual pasta, veal and seafood entries. I had the special surf and turf which was a small filet served with shrimp. My companions had chicken and salmon dishes. The presentations for all our meals were superb. Vito's has been open about 10 days and we liked what we experienced! The menu is extensive with lots of meat, seafood and pasta options plus pizzas. The food was prepared well and the presentation was lovely. The owner was friendly and the staff was attentive but not annoying. The space is nicely decorated and there are options to dine in the bar with TVs, the dining room or the patio. Food was just awful. Mini doughnuts were old and inedible. Beef in French dip was not good. Tough and fatty. Hollondaise on Benedict was curdled, chunky, and tasteless.
Unfortunately the food and the service were both lousy. We ordered the hummus which was okay, but we had to ask for more crostini as there weren't nearly enough for two people to share the amount of hummus. The bread they brought to the table was hard/stake. The entrees came, and they were both terrible. The scallops were super fishy among other issues. We ended up sending everything back. Staff sorting clean silverware right outside dining area...... unbelievably noisy w/ concrete floor. Silverware should be sorted out of sight from dining area & in quieter area of restaurant kitchen
Main course was overcooked and didn’t have the sauce that is standard with the menu description. Server not attentive and had no connection with table. Wasn’t worth the 40 mile drive. Disappointing
The service was so slow and not attentive. A new server who did her best but had no extra help. The hostess came to apologize about the slow service or lack of service after sitting for 10 minutes - where was the manager? It took over twenty minutes to get our drinks. Had to ask about bread. Salads came out before the appetizers. Our waters were empty and the menus were left on the table, so we placed them on the chair - we couldn't wait to leave after two hours on a Wednesday evening with a reservation.
