Ordered calamari and smelled so bad sent back Main dishes good. Very loud.
We go to Gio quite frequently and have always had great food and service. This time the service was very slow. The food was not great. The whiskey shrimp was sub-par. The crostini toast was hard as a brick. The sauce and shrimp were barely luke warm. When I mentioned it to the server AJ there was no apology offered. All he said was he would tell the kitchen. My main complaint was the server. When serving food we would hand the plates to us instead of placing the plates in front of us. When I told him I spent a lot of time as a waiter in college and law school .and that if I handed plates to customers, I would have been fired. He said he wouldn’t be fired and sarcastically thanked me for the lesson. He was not around much after that and he never cleared our dinner plates. Just left them even after giving me the check. Service was good. We ordered chicken dish, was not good chicken was very dry didn’t taste good at all. Salad was great
The food was ok. Overpriced for flavors. Breakfast pizza was meh, not offering anything besides sunny side up egg to be called a breakfast item. Server was young and inexperienced. He didn't offer any advice on menu or daily best or I would have gotten somwthing different. Sadly we will not be returning.
The umbrella fell over in the middle of the meal.
They asked when we booked if we had anything special I said yes a birthday. When hostesssat us she acknowledged the birthday. Or service was okay then at end we’re opening gifts and nothing …. Very disappointed.
We were celebrating my son’s graduation. The service was very good, but our food was cold and we had to send back three dinners, by the time we got our food back it was too late to eat.
The gluten free pizza I ordered was flavorless. I asked for a side of jalapeños and crushed red peppers; that didn’t help. My bad for oderi g pizza; should that for pizza shoppes. Wife’s eggplant Parmesan was ok, light on flavor. Doubt I return.
