Made reservations for bday dinner. Sat us in bar area where loud and atmosphere wasn’t a good fit. Should have specified in reservation would not be in the dining area.
Really disappointed overall. The service was okay but even our waiter kept mentioning the noise when he came to the table. For the price the food was just average at best. The worst thing was the noise, it was almost impossible to hear the person next to you, not an enjoyable experience. Won’t be going back.
Rude reception staff, dampened a special night.
The hostess was not very accommodating nor friendly. She could not understand how to apply our OpenTable points for the dinner as the reservation was little later than we originally arrived. She eventually agreed to apply the points but she actually never did. The food was decent, bartender lady was knowledgeable and friendly; however it is not a destination place, just a good stop if you have no other options.
Nice ambience, the service was slow. The food wasn’t that good. Only enjoyed the Caesar salad, but that’s hard to mess up.
We have been long time fans of Vito's in the Valley. Although the renovation and rebranding are extremely well done, our overall experience was subpar. We sat upon arrival for 15+ minutes before we were greeted by a server. Our server Ashton would disappear for long periods of time. Entrees were ordinary at best with inflated prices. Extremely large portions are not necessary at this level restaurant and reducing the portions may provide a more value oriented price. Have really liked the place...this visit was a shame.
Definitely disappointed in our experience. We have been there a few times before and this time the experience was awful. Food was not fully cooked and all you could taste was salt. They tried to rush us out for next reservation. We had to ask for water numerous times.
poor customer service Given time limit for dining as we were seated. If you are limiting dining time you should advise when reservations are made even if it is through Open Table. This is certainly not appropriate when the staff is not trained. We have dined there when it was Vito's In The Valley. The new re-incarnation is not impressive. my wife and I’s first time at the restaurant and we made a reservation and the hostess seated two families before us when we were there early for a reservation so we had to sit at a hightop in the bar because she gave away all the dining room seating. Very disappointing.
