Mediocre at best. The server was absolutely terrible. The food was very very bland.
We had dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was so unbelievably loud in the bar and the restaurant area it was almost painful. My date had eaten there since it had rebranded as Gio and said that it was ok but I wanted to try. The service was acceptable. The food was barely passable. We both had steak. Always love this place but fell short tonight. Chicken spidini was dry and served barely warm. Bread pudding was dry, although waiter replaced with absolutely delicious teramisu.
Very noisy, food just fair.
Getting refills was extrely hard!
Everything would have been 5 stars if it was not for the noise level. We had to yell to be heard. We were friends who had not seen each other in two years so had a lot to say. I had a sore throat this morning from yelling.
Made reservations for the bar high top tables 2 days before reservations. Got there and front older lady said we couldn’t sit there bc our party wasn’t 6 people. Escorted to dining room. Only to be there for happy hour 4-6. Did not know about 6 ppl sitting in bar. Would have gone to another restaurant.
Could have been a bit quieter. Hard to have a conversation
Have eaten here several times before, and food was good. This time it was overall very disappointing. Pizza was undercooked and my pasta was over cooked, with very little sauce and taste. Restaurant seemed to be overbooked with several large cocktail parties in the dining area, which made dining there uncomfortable.
